Einav Mekori is a Glass Artist, working mostly in blowing & hot casting glass .
Native to Israel, she initially studied sculpture at the Bezalel
Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem.  She moved to Canada in 2004, and subsequently graduated from
the Sheridan College Craft and Design program.  At 2006, right after graduation, she began a three years
Artist residency at the glass studio of Harbourfront centre, Toronto. During her years as a professional
glass artist, her works have been featured in several exhibitions around the world. Her previous  artwork deals
with memory and perpetuation, influenced by the rich visualization of Victorian styles, and takes inspiration from
jewelry and wallpaper designs. currently, einav  returned to Israel and teaching glass at the bezalel academy of art and
Design in Jerusalem. .  her bran new glass blowing studio in kibbutz Regavim she is developing a new body of work.
